This past year has been insane, most of it bad. But some good things did happen and that's what I'd like to try to focus on. So, here I go!
I got the new position at work I was after, which has been pretty ok.
I moved in with the love of my life in to OUR first official home
rather than me just kinda following him and never leaving
I GOT ENGAGED!!! Said love of my life decided that after 6 1/2 years he was willing to put up with me forever and in 2015 we shall wed.
I started what I think to be a successful Ray Toro blog on Tumblr and I hope I can keep it going for a while.
I made adopts and even though I
was horribly anxious I posted and even sold some.
With the encouragement of hisironicprincess
I not only did my own base free work, but I posted it. It's nerve wracking, but it also feels kind of nice.
I went on a real vacation for the first time down to Georgia and Florida and saw the ocean for the very first time as well as meeting people on my fathers side of the family for the first time.
Although I was unable to keep both of my cats when my sister was moving, I did manage to keep one and the other one was given to a truly amazing family who treats him like the chubber-butt prince he is.
So, with that comes into play a new years resolution of mine. I don't like to make them because I never stick to them, but who knows, maybe this will be different.
I am such a negative person by nature and it's getting to the point where it is physically hurting me. So, one of my goals is to keep a journal and try to write one good thing about that day. Even it's only so much as getting the muffin I was craving.
I want to put out more art, be it my own stuff, sketches, base work, adopts, etc. The goal will be one piece a week.
I found a wedding venue that I am in love with but it is out of my budget by a lot, I'm hoping I can either find a second job to get it or find something cheaper that I love more.
This is nothing important or big by any stretch of the imagination, but since I'm putting the others down I may as well do this one too. I am determined to get over 1 million Neopoints on Neopets by the end of 2014. I am going to sit on them and hoard for a while before blowing them all.
I wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR and hope that it's a good one.
